Geospatial Current Conditions & Trends Assessments for Engagement Themes in shishalh swiya

This project is a collaboration between shishalh Nation & the province of British Columbia as part of the development of a draft joint land use plan for the shishalh swiya (world, birthplace, lands, “Territory” | herein, “planning area”) located on Sunshine Coast, BC.

This project will focus on the development of current conditions & trends assessments (CCAs) based on relevant studies and data, and for engagement planning themes/values/sub-values (i.e., shishalh culture & heritage, environmental condition, resiliency, & sustainable social & economic development). The objective is to develop an engagement hub/Gateway site with summaries & geospatial products in the form of online visual tools (i.e., StoryMaps, interactive web maps, etc.) that support external engagement & the development of land use planning scenarios.

Closing Date: October 14, 2022.
Submissions: Proposals must be submitted by email to lilxmit@shishalh.com by 5:00 pm, October 14th, 2022. Please include “LUPT CCA Submission” in the subject line of the email.
